What this tool does

Rotate PDF turns pages that were scanned or saved the wrong way round. Turn every page at once, or click just the pages that need it, by a quarter turn either way or upside down. The preview shows the result before you save. Rotation is stored as a setting on each page, so nothing is re-rendered and the quality is exactly the same as before.

How to rotate PDF pages

  1. Choose a PDF, or drop it onto the box above.
  2. Pick how far to turn: 90° right, 180° or 90° left.
  3. Leave every page as it is to turn them all, or click the pages that need turning.
  4. Select Rotate PDF, then download the file.

What happens to your file

We never upload your file. The previews and the rotation are made inside this browser tab, on your own device. Nothing is sent to our servers or stored by us.

What it cannot do

  • It turns whole pages only, in quarter turns. It cannot straighten a page that was scanned slightly crooked.
  • It cannot open a password-protected PDF. Remove the password first with Unlock PDF, using the password you already have.
  • The file can be up to 200 MB.
