What this tool does

It turns an Excel workbook (.xlsx) into a PDF of clear, readable tables, without Microsoft Excel installed. Every visible sheet is included, one after another, laid out on A4 or US Letter pages. It suits invoices, price lists, timetables and reports that someone needs to read or print rather than edit.

How to convert Excel to PDF

  1. Choose your .xlsx file, or drop it onto the box above. Add more files if you want them in the same PDF.
  2. If you added more than one, drag them into the order you want.
  3. Pick A4 or US Letter paper.
  4. Select Convert to PDF, then download the result.

What happens to your spreadsheet

We never upload your file. The workbook is read and converted inside this browser tab, on your own device, so salaries, budgets and customer lists are not sent to a conversion website.

How the PDF is laid out, and what it leaves out

  • Cells show the values Excel last calculated, not the formulas behind them.
  • A sheet too wide for the page is split into groups of columns, rather than shrunk until it cannot be read.
  • Hidden sheets are left out, and only the first 5,000 rows of each sheet are included.
  • Charts, cell colours, borders and fonts are not reproduced. For an exact copy, use File, Save As, PDF in Excel itself.
  • The older .xls format is not supported yet; save it as .xlsx first.
  • The files you convert at once can add up to 200 MB.
